One of my favorite restaurants in Brazzaville in D&D, run by incredibly friendly Belgians, located in centre ville. I think it’s relatively new–it’s been open as long as we’ve been here, but maybe not much more than a year. It’s very chic, with trendy decor. The food is mostly small plates, with a rotating menu and special theme nights. The wine list is excellent, for Brazzaville, anyways. It’s a perfect place for girls’ nights, when we want to eat large plates of cheeses and dips, and enjoy some wine. It’s also a great date spot. It’s very popular with expats, but locals can also be seen there. Unfortunately, it’s expensive, but as the adage goes, you get what you pay for. I will pay handsomely for a great red wine and a plate of delicious cheeses.
